Eighth Edition of the FIFA/CIES University Network Prize: 15 Projects Competing!

For the eighth edition of the FIFA/CIES International University Network, CIES has received fifteen projects before the stipulated deadline. An international jury will next select the award-winning project on 26th January 2018.

The FIFA/CIES International University Network Prize was created in 2011 following a suggestion by the Universidad Católica Argentina. The aim of the prize is to reward original work, further the understanding of sports-related phenomena and also to develop innovative projects on a continental, national, regional and local level. The Prize consists of a trip to Switzerland to visit the FIFA and CIES headquarters as well as the opportunity to present the conclusions of the winning project to the FIFA Master class during the Neuchâtel module.

The fifteen projects selected by the CIES partner universities are as follows:
