Over 80 FIFA/CIES Programme in sport management students recently received their diplomas in Argentina, Chile and Peru, rewarding their efforts after more than six months of studies with CIES local academic partners.
Leaving the stress of the last days of classes and the presentation of their final project behind them, the students put an appropriate finishing touch to their studies during very convivial closing ceremonies organised on the campuses of Universidad Católica Argentina in Buenos Aires, Universidad Santo Tomás in Santiago de Chile and Universidad San Martín de Porres in Lima.
In each country, the ceremony speakers emphasised the importance of not stopping our efforts here. The new graduates must now invest their knowledge to improve management of their sport organisation, irrespective of its size, thereby offering national sport a new dimension.
The student representatives, for their part, emphasised the importance of the FIFA/CIES Programme which, beyond the curriculum itself, allows each participant to become more familiar with the national sport environment and to create a dense and strong network of friendships.
