The FIFA Master is a unique 10-month sport (and not solely football...) Master programme, initiated by FIFA, coordinated by CIES, and taught by three prestigious European universities: De Montfort University (Leicester, UK), SDA Bocconi School of Management (Milan, IT) and Neuchatel University (Neuchatel, CH), in association with the Università della Svizzera italiana.

The National University of Physical Education and Sport of Ukraine (NUPESU) organised the first graduation ceremony of the FIFA/CIES Programme in sport management at the headquarters of the Football Federation of Ukraine (FFU) in Kiev last week.
The 49 students received their diploma in the presence of Mr Yuri Shkrebtiy, vice-rector of NUPESU, Mr Oleksandr Bandurko, vice-president of FFU, and CIES representatives. The day before, they presented their project work, which put an end to an education programme started in October 2009.
«Talent alone does not mean anything” commented O. Bandurko. “It needs numerous efforts. The education programme that you attended is a first step towards the professionalization of sport management in our country. And we all know how necessary this is!”
FFU is the initiator of the project in Ukraine which it supported financially and logistically.

La National University of Physical Education and Sport of Ukraine (NUPESU) organizó la primera ceremonia de clausura del Programa de gestión del deporte FIFA/CIES la semana pasada en la sede de la Federación de Fútbol de Ucrania (FFU) en Kiev.
Los 49 estudiantes recibieron su diploma en presencia del Sr. Y. Youri Shkrebtiy, vice-rector de la NUPESU, el Sr. Olksander Bandurko, vice-presidente de la FFU, y representantes del CIES. El día anterior, habían presentado su proyecto de grupo, lo cual puso fin a un programa de formación empezado en octubre de 2009.
“Sólo el talento no es suficiente” comentó O. Bandurko. “Este requiere muchos esfuerzos. El programa de educación que ustedes atendieron constituye el primer paso hacia la profesionalización de la gestión deportiva en nuestro país. ¡Y todos nosotros sabemos cuán importante es eso!”
La FFU es el iniciador del proyecto al cual brindó su apoyo financiero y logístico.

La National University of Physical Education and Sport of Ukraine (NUPESU) a organisé la première cérémonie de remise de diplômes du Programme de management sportif FIFA/CIES la semaine dernière au siège de la Fédération de Football d’Ukraine (FFU) à Kiev.
C’est en présence de M. Yuri Shkrebtiy, vice-recteur de la NUPESU, de M. Oleksandr Bandurko, vice-président de la FFU, ainsi que de représentants du CIES, que les 49 étudiants ont reçu leur diplôme. Le jour auparavant, ils avaient présenté leur projet de groupe mettant ainsi un terme à un programme de formation commencé au mois d’octobre 2009.
«Le talent en lui seul n’est rien » a déclaré O. Bandurko. « Il nécessite de nombreux efforts. La formation que vous avez suivie constitue un premier pas vers la professionnalisation du management sportif dans notre pays. Et nous savons tous combien cela est nécessaire ».
La FFU est l’initiateur du projet en Ukraine auquel elle a apporté son soutien financier et logistique.
