The FIFA Master is a unique 10-month sport (and not solely football...) Master programme, initiated by FIFA, coordinated by CIES, and taught by three prestigious European universities: De Montfort University (Leicester, UK), SDA Bocconi School of Management (Milan, IT) and Neuchatel University (Neuchatel, CH), in association with the Università della Svizzera italiana.

Partenaire du CIES depuis 2006, l’Université Cheikh Anta Diop (UCAD) de Dakar (Sénégal) a officiellement lancé la procédure d’inscription pour la cinquième édition du Programme de management sportif FIFA/CIES qui débutera à la fin au mois d’octobre 2010.
Ce programme permet à des personnes venues de différents horizons professionnels et sportifs d’acquérir les instruments de gestion modernes dans les domaines du marketing, du sponsoring, du droit, du management, de la communication, de la finance et de l’organisation d’événements sportifs. Adapté aux réalités régionales et nationales, le cours offre également la possibilité d’entendre des spécialistes internationaux invités par la FIFA et le CIES.
«L'organisation du sport au Sénégal, particulièrement au niveau des fédérations et des clubs, tire un grand intérêt du Programme» estime Leopold Germain Senghor, ancien étudiant. Par ailleurs, son collègue Seyni Guédel Mbodj souligne « Grâce au Programme FIFA/CIES, je suis devenu plus performant et efficace, donc plus professionnel. Il m’a aussi permis d’élargir mes relations et mes amitiés (…)».
Rappelons que le Réseau Universitaire International, créé en marge du Programme de management sportif FIFA/CIES, réunit treize universités à savoir la Universidad Católica Argentina de Buenos Aires, la Universidad Santo Tomás du Santiago de Chile, l’Université Cheikh Anta Diop de Dakar (Sénégal), la Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University de Port Elizabeth (Afrique du Sud), l’Université d’Afrique du Sud de Pretoria, l’Université du Caire en Egypte, la Universidad de Costa Rica de San José, l’Université des West Indies de Port d’Espagne (Trinité et Tobago), la Birzeit University de Ramallah (Palestine), la Bahcesehir University d’Istanbul (Turquie), l’Université Nationale d’Education Physique et de Sport d’Ukraine à Kiev, la Universidad Metropolitana de Caracas (Venezuela) ainsi que la Universidad Rey Juan Carlos de Madrid (Espagne).

Partner of CIES since 2006, the Université Cheikh Anta Diop (UCAD) in Dakar (Senegal) has officially launched the 5th edition of the FIFA/CIES Programme in sport management. The courses will start in October 2010.
The Programme enables people from various professional and sporting horizons to familiarise themselves with modern management tools in key areas such as marketing, sponsorship, law, management, communication, finances and event management. Adapted to regional and national realities, it also offers the opportunity to attend lectures given by international FIFA/CIES experts.
“The management of sport in Senegal – in particular within the national federations and the clubs –greatly benefits from this Programme” declared Leopold Germain Senghor, alumni of the Programme. For his part, his colleague Seyni Guédel Mbodj emphasized: “Thanks to the FIFA/CIES Programme, I have become more competitive and efficient, thus more professional. It has also enabled me to broaden my network and increase my friendships”.

La Université Cheikh Anta Diop (UCAD) Dakar (Senegal), socia del CIES desde 2006,ha abierto el plazo de inscripción para el quinto Programa de Gestión del Deporte FIFA/CIES. Los cursos empezarán a finales de octubre de 2010.
El programa permite a personas de diferentes ámbitos profesionales y deportivos familiarizarse con herramientas modernas de gestión en áreas clave como la mercadotecnia, el patrocinio, el derecho, la gestión de empresas, la comunicación, las finanzas y la organización de eventos. Los cursos, adaptados a las realidades regionales y nacionales, también ofrecen a los estudiantes la posibilidad de escuchar a expertos internacionales FIFA/CIES.
“La organización del deporte en Senegal – en particular a nivel de federaciones nacionales y clubes – beneficia enormemente del Programa” comenta Leopold Germain Senghor, antiguo alumno. Por otro lado, su compañero Seyni Guédel Mbodj añade: “Gracias al Programa FIFA/CIES, he logrado ser más competente y eficaz, es decir más profesional. También me ha permitido ampliar mi red de contactos e incrementar mis amistades”.
