What is your current professional activity? and your involvement in sport?
Finance and business operations of a sports club (Al Jazira Sports & Cultural Club). I handle all the match day operations plus the financial aspects of the club.
 
Why did you choose to attend the FIFA/CIES Programme in sport management at PSUAD?
I chose the FIFA/CIES sports management course to enhance my capabilities and to bring out more ideas and structure for my career and for the organisation, which I work for.
 
What were your expectations before the start of the course? and… were they met?
To get a more in-depth knowledge of management and sports law. I now have this, following the completion of the course, which is very useful.
 
What would you say are the key strengths of the PSUAD/FIFA/CIES Programme in sport management?
The key strengths would be the lecturers, flexible timing of the classes, the standards which they set and the case studies which were provided.
 
What benefits (on a personal and/or professional level) did you gain from attending the course?
It has helped in shaping my ideas and it has given me a more in-depth knowledge of what is required to work in a sports organization.
 
What is your best memory/highlight of the course?
My classmates. I was glad that I got the best classmates! I wish I could do the course again with them. They were very easy to get on with and highly educated.
 
Would you recommend the PSUAD/FIFA/CIES Programme in sport management? Why?
Yes, I would highly recommend it for those who are stepping into the sports industry as it would help them shape their future. Also, with the collaboration of FIFA and CIES the course can also help them to achieve their full potential.
