Lebanon - Final group project presentations: and the winners are…

Winning group NDU 2014

The final group presentations of the first edition of the Notre-Dame University FIFA/CIES Sport Management Program took place on Saturday February 8, 2014 in NDU Main Campus in Zouk Mosbeh, Lebanon.

Four groups presented their projects that were assessed by a jury composed of Prof. Pierre Lanfranchi (FIFA/CIES Network scientific coordinator), Mr. Wadih Abdelnour (CIES local coordinator in Lebanon), Dr. Mary-Angela Willis (dean of NDU Faculty of Humanities), Dr. Maha Mouchantaf (chairperson of the Department of Psychology, Education and Physical Education), Dr. Nadim Nassif (NDU FIFA/CIES Sport Management Program manager and Physical Education and Sports major adviser), Maitre Jo Yazbeck (head of the Sport Law module of NDU FIFA/CIES Sport Management Program), Mr. Ezzat Ramadan (head of the Sport Event Management and Sport Financial Management modules of NDU FIFA/CIES Sport Management Program), Mr. Tony Khalil (head of the Sport Communication and Sport Marketing modules of NDU FIFA/CIES Sport Management Program) and Mr. Mazen Ramadan (head of the Sport Management module of NDU FIFA/CIES Sport Management Program).

The titles of the projects were:
* Development of Women Football in Lebanon presented by Maria Saad, Ricardo Rubeiz, Hsein Kanso and Tony Tarraf (tutored by Mr. Tony Khalil)
* Road Map to Qatar 2022 presented by Hovsep Seraydarian, Jamil Tayar, Nisrine Wazen and Christeena Bado (tutored by Maitre Jo Yazbeck)
* World Cup of the Legends presented by Ziad Saadeh, Micheline Slim, Rachid Haidar and Jean Hanna (tutored by Mr. Ezzat Kraytem)
* Lebanese Olympic Centre of Excellence presented by Chebl Yassine, Charbel Richa and Anthony Salameh (tutored by Mr. Mazen Ramadan)

And the winners are… Hovsep Seraydarian, Jamil Tayar, Nisrine Wazen and Christeena Bado with their project “Road Map to Qatar 2022”.
