Four alumni of the FIFA/CIES Programme in sport management were awarded their FIFA Master degree during a ceremony held under the patronage of Christian Karembeu at Neuchatel Castle (Switzerland) on 18 July.
The graduates are Charisse Bacchus (University of the West Indies, Trinidad and Tobago), Zarina Bahdur (Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University, South Africa), Diego Brenes (University of Costa Rica) and Safia Abdel Dayem (Cairo University, Egypt).
Moreover, Alfredo Quirós, who is involved in promotion of the FIFA/CIES Programme in Costa Rica, was also awarded his degree as well as the Madella Award for the best group work of the 14th edition of the FIFA Master (on the topic of electronic gambling as a branding tool for sports clubs and leagues).
We extend our warmest congratulations to Charisse, Zarina, Diego, Safia and Alfredo as well as to the other twenty-three graduates: Ratu Tisha, Gianluca, Nzumbe, Nicholas, Daniel, Nicolas, Haley, Jakub, Mungo, Nadia, Helena, Elizabeth, Martin, Colm, Patrick, Norman, Lena, Sarah, Ayan, Christin, Charlotte, Oren and Daniel.
