We are pleased to welcome Isaura Castillo who has been appointed as Coordinator of the FIFA/CIES International Programme organised by Universidad de Costa Rica (UCR). She will oversee the administrative and logistical aspects of the courses on behalf of the university.
A former student of our FIFA/CIES Programme, Isaura studied at the UCR (physical education, human movement science). She then continued her training in the United States where she obtained a PhD in Kinesiology from the University of Georgia in 2021.
Looking forward to her new responsibilities Isaura said, "This represents an unparalleled opportunity for academic and professional growth. As a graduate from the first FIFA/CIES International Programme, I am happy to bridge the gap with the students who started the fifteenth edition a few days ago. Furthermore, it is a great pleasure for me to be in direct contact with the people involved in this project, with whom I will be able to share enriching experiences both locally and internationally. For me, the Programme is an ideal instrument for collective training. It is also the perfect complement for the professionalization of sports managers in Costa Rica and Central America”.
