About NDU

Notre Dame University - Louaize (NDU) is a private, Lebanese non-profit Catholic institution of higher education which adopts the American system of education. As a Catholic institution inspired by the cultural and spiritual heritage of the Maronite Order of the Holy Virgin Mary, NDU seeks to provide comprehensive quality education that fosters excellence in scholarship, lifelong learning, enlightened citizenship, human solidarity, moral integrity, and belief in God.

NDU offers undergraduate and graduate programs in 7 Faculties: Faculty of Architecture, Art and Design, Faculty of Business Administration and Economics, Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Humanities, Faculty of Law and Political Science, Faculty of Natural and Applied Sciences, and Faculty of Nursing and Health Sciences. It also provides lifelong education through the Division of Continuing Education.

The Faculty of Humanities, which supplies the teaching of the FIFA/CIES Program in sport management on campus under the terms of agreement with the International Centre for Sports Studies (CIES), offers a variety of undergraduate and graduate degree programs in education, translation/interpretation, literature and language, psychology, advertising/marketing, radio/tv, and journalism/electronic media, in addition to a BA in physical education and sports. These programs are designed to prepare professionals endowed with a liberal education that prepares them to become civically-minded individuals in society capable of contributing to the sustainable development of their communities.
