Why did you choose to attend the FIFA/CIES Certificate in Sport Management at NMMU?
It seemed to be a good opportunity to get more information in sport management.
What were your expectations before the start of the course? And… were they met?
I did not know what to expect but it were worth attending the course and it was great to learn how sport should be managed. My expectations were more than fulfilled and I am sure I will be a better manager with the newly-acquired knowledge.
What would you say are the key strengths of the FIFA/CIES Certificate in Sport Management?
The way the course is brought to the students. The course widens the students’ knowledge about sport and changes the mindset of how things should be done.
What benefits (on a personal and/or professional level) did you gain from attending the course?
The benefits are enormous and give a new perspective on how to manage sport federations or clubs.
What is your best memory/highlight of the course?
The marketing module and sponsorship presentations.
Would you recommend the FIFA/CIES Certificate in Sport Management? Why?
I will recommend the course to all people involved in sport. It is a « must » for sport managers.
