More than 150 persons participated in the Conference celebrating the 10th Anniversary of the partnership between Universidad de Costa Rica (UCR) and CIES last week-end.
This successful event allowed many students, alumni as well as sports and football representatives to attend various presentations and debates on the new trends in sports world. The audience heard lectures on the organisation of sustainable sports events, communication and revenues of sports organisations, football and the fight against child cancer as well and the differences between the sponsorships for football federations, leagues and clubs. The participants had also the opportunity to take stock of the growing importance of the FIFA/CIES Executive Programme in Costa Rica and neighbouring countries.
