Paris-Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi (PSUAD), as the academic partner of the International Centre for Sports Studies (CIES), has just opened the registration process for the 3rd edition of the FIFA/CIES Programme in Sports Management in the United Arab Emirates. This Programme is supported by the Abu Dhabi Sports Council (ADSC), which played an essential role in implementing the project.
PSUAD, ADSC and CIES are delighted to officially launch registrations for the third edition of the FIFA/CIES Programme in Sports Management. The course is intended not only for students from the United Arab Emirates, but also for participants from all Gulf Cooperation Council countries.
The Programme was created in 2004 and to date, it has allowed over 2000 students from different professional backgrounds to become familiar with the fundamental skills needed in the field of sport management. Studies in sports law, management, communication, sport event management, marketing, sponsorship and finance, in addition to the opportunity to attend conferences given by international experts on various aspects of sport today, are all part of the course.
Currently taught in 16 countries (Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Costa Rica, Egypt, Lebanon, Palestine, Peru, Poland, Russia, Senegal, South Africa, Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, the United Arab Emirates and Venezuela), the Programme is open to candidates from all sporting backgrounds and offers a curriculum combining both theory and practical case studies.
