Why did you choose to attend the FIFA/CIES Programme in Sports Management?
Gaining and updating knowledge in my professional area has always been my priority and the biggest passion. The FIFA/CIES Programme in Sports Management has been launched as the most prestigious studies in this field and I couldn’t imagine not being among the alumni of the first edition in my home country. Today, from the time perspective, I can see that this was a very good decision.
What is your highlight of the course?
This programme is mainly about practice. Meetings with experts from Poland and from abroad, case studies, exchanging experiences. It is really motivating and inspiring! Theory is also present, but plays a supporting role. Practice comes first.
Would you recommend the FIFA/CIES Programme in Sports Management?
I definitely recommend this programme! Everyone, who considers themselves as competent enough to take the responsibility for decisions influencing sports – in marketing, PR, management and others – should constantly develop their knowledge and exchange experiences. Polish version of the FIFA/CIES Programme in Sports Management is definitely one of the best possibilities to do that. It is also perfectly organized.
In March 2016 you took the position of the Press Officer at Wisła Kraków SA, one of the main Polish football clubs. Did the studies help you with such career development?
With no doubt, the knowledge you are gaining at each level of your career path becomes your asset and helps you with further development and new duties. This is how it was in my case. I wish the future students every success in following their own sports passions!
