Partner of CIES since 2007, Cairo University has officially launched the 8th edition of the FIFA/CIES Executive Programme in Sports Management. Classes will start in May 2016.
Since it was first established, Cairo University (CU) has opened the FIFA/CIES Executive Programme to numerous students from not only Egypt but also further afield with students from countries such as Bahrain, Nigeria, Qatar, Sudan, Saudi Arabia and Syria, for example, attending the course. The classes enable candidates from various professional and sporting backgrounds to familiarise themselves with modern management tools in key areas such as marketing, law, management, sponsoring, communication, finance and event management. The course also welcomes a wide range of international CIES experts as guest speakers.
Mohamed Seif, alumnus of the Programme, commented: “The FIFA/CIES Executive Programme in Sports Management was of great added value to me, both on personal and professional levels. The experience of debating with internationally recognised guest speakers from the world of sports, in addition to engaging in great class discussions and becoming acquainted with fellow sports enthusiasts is a priceless asset. Karim Fathi, another graduate, added: “The Programme provides a thorough grounding in sporting education.
