I pursued the FIFA/CIES/UWI Postgraduate Diploma in Sport Management to gain the knowledge of the behind the scene activities from an operational standpoint as well as to obtain the inside knowledge of all the elements that takes place before and after a game or match is played.
This programme provided the theoretical knowledge and the broadest possible outlook regarding Sport Management. The programme outlined the importance of the various elements - sponsorship, sport marketing, event and facility management, human resource management and sport finance.
The programme design, the quality of teaching and the approach was well thought out. It brought an understanding of the different mechanics of Sport Management. The fundamental principles of Sport Management was acquired which I can now apply to industry contexts locally and internationally with emphasis on real-life application in a sport context.
I gained a range of important knowledge and skills that will be beneficial to me from a personal standpoint and as a professional who wish to join the sports world.

Sport has always been a central feature of my life and given my strong interest and passion for sport, the FIFA/CIES/UWI Postgraduate Diploma in Sport Management programme was an ideal stepping stone for me towards achieving my career goals.
The programme is an excellent opportunity to gain specialist knowledge and proper training on the dynamics of the sport industry from sport marketing, event management, facilities management, sport law and sport finance.
As a participant, through the integration of contemporary tools and techniques in both theory and practice, the programme helped me to develop my skills and technical capacity, enhanced my knowledge and proved valuable to my experience as an aspiring sport management professional.
This programme was a worthy investment for my personal and professional development and I strongly recommend this truly educational, unique, exciting and global programme to all sport professionals.
