My expectations were minimal as I've always been involved in sport development and training as an administrator with the Olympic Committee. This course was well delivered, content based, flexible, accommodating and totally exceeded my little expectations which I had from the onset.

What would you say are the key strengths of the UWI/FIFA/CIES Postgraduate Diploma in Sports Management?
The Blended learning structure and Blackboard Platform, the Face to Face sessions really set the tone for the upcoming modules and provided much insight into the sporting realm from the delivery of the well qualified and experienced lecturers.

What benefits (on a personal and/or professional level) did you gain from attending the course?
Benefits were the exposure to content, the networking opportunities and the guest lecturers from FIFA, this course aided in my personal and professional growth as a person and sporting professional.

How have the courses offered by the programme aided in developing your knowledge, competencies, and skills?
The courses paved the way for me furthering my education; as I have since started my MBA with another University, the skills I developed and sharpened have allowed me to host sporting events with greater focus and strategy.

How has the programme contributed to your professional growth and employability?
Professionally, I have moved from employee to employer, it opened up the doors to a successful career in sports.

I have too many to mention but meeting the President of  FIFA was definitely one that stood out.
