What is your current professional activity? and your involvement in sport?
I am a security consultant, and I also work as FIFA Security Officer/Match Commissioner and CONCACAF General Coordinator/Match Commissioner.
Why did you choose to attend the FIFA/CIES Programme in Sport Management at The University of the West Indies?
To improve and acquire new knowledge and skills in sport management.
What were your expectations before the start of the course? and… were they met?
I expected the entire programme to be online because of my tight travel schedule. However, it was not.
What would you say are the key strengths of the UWI/FIFA/CIES Postgraduate Diploma in Sports Management?
The online blackboard learning and the face to face sessions with the lecturers.
What benefits (on a personal and/or professional level) did you gain from attending the course?
Better work/study time management and the appreciation that what I was doing in the execution of my duties was correct.
What is your best memory/highlight of the course?
The amount of up to date material shared by the lecturer in sports law.
Would you recommend the UWI/FIFA/CIES Postgraduate Diploma in Sports Management? Why?
Yes. I have already done so. It is a good tool kit to have in your back pocket.
