Why did you choose to study the FIFA/CIES Programme in Sport Management at The University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Campus?
I chose to study this course at the University of the West Indies to broaden my knowledge and understand how sport companies and sport in general can be managed effectively.

What were your expectations before the start of the course? And… were they met?
Prior to doing this course, I expected it to be tied to physical activities as it relates to sport. However, after pursuing the course and completing it, my expectations have changed as a result of the wealth of knowledge gained during the period.

What would you say are the key strengths of the UWI/FIFA/CIES Postgraduate Diploma in Sports Management?
This course’s key strength gives the participant the information that sport management focuses on many different aspects. Some of which are namely: Marketing, Law and Sport, Finance, Human Resource management and many others.

This program has contributed to my professional growth in utilising different management styles when doing Physical Education lessons. Also I have been using my knowledge in Human Resource Management to get the right students to get the job done.

What is your best memory/highlight of the course?
My best memory is how friendship was developed with my cohorts over the year. We have form a bond that I know would remain strong.
